Clearing the Path for Colorado:Supporting New Learning Models for Credit Recovery and Drop-out Prevention

The Colorado State Department of Education, in partnership with the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL), is hosting a state district leadership academy on online and blended learning innovations in credit recovery. Colorado high schools seeking to explore new models of student-centered, credit recovery solutions and alternative pathways to graduation are encouraged to attend.

iNACOL will discuss findings in a new report on key issues and needs for online credit recovery in Colorado. The opening sessions will have presenters highlighting best practices in the state and showcasing national exemplars with questions and discussions. The day will involve deep discussions in a workshop format to discuss key issues and barriers – for both policy and practice.
